Senior Deal Desk Analyst responsible for managing initial approvals in the deal approval workflow, structuring intricate sales agreements, and supporting sales teams to reduce sales cycle duration and hasten deal closing. Collaborates with Sales, Business Unit, Legal, Credit, Revenue Assurance, Audit and Compliance, Order Management, Sales Operations, and Customer Success Manager to articulate deal value and provide deal status updates. Analyzes current workflows, proposes improvements, and handles ad-hoc duties. Requires 7-10+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Pricing, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Revenue role in Enterprise Software/SaaS, proficiency in Salesforce.com, CPQ/quoting tools, and Microsoft Office applications, and a good understanding of revenue recognition rules.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deal Desk Analyst will coordinate the ongoing contract preparation and deal approval steps by being a trusted partner to the sales teams.
  2. You will deliver detailed reasons to various partners (Business Unit, Legal, Credit, Revenue Assurance, Audit and Compliance, Order Management, Sales Operations, Customer Success Manager) in order to articulate deal value consistently.
  3. In addition, you will provide in-quarter deal status updates and communication to sales finance and sales management, and meet established performance indicators and service guidelines.
  4. You will analyze current workflows, propose improvements, and handle ad-hoc duties on special projects and analysis when necessary.
