The role focuses on partnering with design leadership to define needs, source and assess design talent, manage the full recruitment lifecycle, and build diverse pipelines. Responsibilities include leading sourcing, recruiting across design roles, evaluating portfolios, collaborating with leaders, facilitating interviews, tracking metrics, and championing the employer brand. Requires proven experience recruiting design roles, strong sourcing skills, familiarity with AI tools for recruiting, ability to assess design portfolios, and excellent communication/stakeholder management. Bonus points for experience recruiting design leaders, compensation strategy, employer branding, and multi-geography hiring. Compensation range provided.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead sourcing and outreach efforts for design roles, leveraging recruiting platforms, creative communities, portfolio sites, and social networks.
  2. Recruit across various Design roles, including Product Design, Brand/Visual Design, and Design Leadership.
  3. Screen and evaluate candidate portfolios, craft quality, systems thinking, and collaboration skills.
  4. Partner closely with design leaders to calibrate on craft standards, hiring bar, and team composition.
  5. Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, including portfolio reviews and design exercises, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.

  • Proven experience recruiting for design roles (e.g., Product Design and Brand Design) in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with AI tools, recruiting platforms, and other creative talent networks.
  • Ability to assess design portfolios and understand craft, systems thinking, and user-centered methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics and drive process improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
