Vercel is seeking a Senior Developer Ecosystem & Open Source Lead to manage and scale their developer-facing programs, lead ecosystem partnerships, and define their global conference and sponsorship strategy. This role focuses on strengthening Vercel's influence within the modern web ecosystem by deepening relationships with open source maintainers and leaders, ensuring high-impact sponsorships, and positioning Vercel at the center of developer conversations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and evolve Vercel’s Developer-Facing programs, refining sponsorship frameworks, strengthening maintainer relationships, and increasing the programs' visibility and measurable impact across the ecosystem.
  2. Define and lead Vercel’s developer ecosystem strategy, identifying priority focus areas, building high-leverage partnerships, and positioning Vercel at the center of the modern web.
  3. Own global conference and sponsorship strategy, determining where and how Vercel shows up, representing the company at flagship events, and establishing clear ROI for ecosystem investments.
  4. Shape developer thought leadership and narrative, contributing to Vercel Media and ensuring our ecosystem presence reinforces brand, product positioning, and long-term marketing goals.
  5. Drive cross-functional alignment, partnering with Developer Experience, Community, Product Marketing, and Brand to translate ecosystem strategy into scalable activation.
