This role is for a Senior Director of Business Development, Agency at The Trade Desk, a global technology company specializing in digital advertising. The position focuses on leading and developing a team to drive strategic partnerships with Agency Holding Companies, cultivate C-Suite relationships, articulate the platform's value proposition, accelerate revenue growth, and negotiate commercial agreements. The role also involves contributing to product roadmap prioritization by advocating for client needs and representing the company's expertise. It requires a strong background in online advertising sales, experience with major agencies and advertisers, quantitative and negotiation skills, and the ability to influence product development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leading and developing a high-performing team of Agency Business Development Managers, driving strategic partnerships with Agency Holding Companies.
  2. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with C-Suite executives at key agency partners.
  3. Articulating the unique value proposition of our media buying platform, leveraging industry insights to drive adoption.
  4. Accelerating revenue growth through collaborative strategies with the Brand Business Development team and internal stakeholders.
  5. Negotiating and managing commercial agreements with agencies, in close collaboration with the General Manager Agency.
