Senior Director role focused on transforming client data into actionable insights for a payments technology company. The role involves leading initiatives, establishing metrics, developing executive-ready narratives, and activating insights for growth. It also includes advancing analytic innovation through responsible AI adoption and managing high-performing teams. The primary focus is on leveraging data and AI to drive client success and business outcomes within the fintech domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and lead high‑impact, highly visible client intelligence and analytics initiatives, translating complex transaction, performance, and Voice of Client data into actionable insights that address critical client and ecosystem questions.
  2. Establish and govern trusted client metrics, benchmarks, and client health frameworks, ensuring consistent measurement, data quality, and compliant usage across North America client segments and insight activation use cases.
  3. Develop executive‑ready insight narratives and deliverables—including presentations, dashboards, and written storylines—that clearly explain what is happening, why it is happening, and what action should be taken by leaders, Client Success Managers (CSMs), and partners.
  4. Drive segment‑level and ecosystem‑wide intelligence, synthesizing insights across client lifecycle stages to identify performance drivers, systemic issues, and early indicators of risk or opportunity.
  5. Activate insights into growth‑enabling outcomes, enabling CSMs with light‑lift, repeatable signals and partnering with Visa Consulting to deliver consulting‑grade insight assets—while maintaining clear commercial governance and role boundaries.

Skills

Required

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD); or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and client executives.
  • Proven data problem‑solving skills with experience interpreting large‑scale datasets and extracting actionable insights using advanced analytical techniques.
  • Demonstrated success building executive‑ready, client‑facing narratives that influence decision‑making and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Proactive collaborator and self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and can lead multiple complex initiatives concurrently.

Nice to have

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD); PhD with 9+ years of experience
