This role is for a Senior Director of Customer Marketing focused on building and running advocacy, community, and lifecycle marketing programs for an AI security company. The goal is to leverage the customer base to drive growth, retention, and expansion. Responsibilities include building advocacy engines, launching customer communities, designing lifecycle campaigns, establishing executive advisory boards, and leading a team. The role requires significant experience in B2B marketing, customer marketing, and program building, ideally within cybersecurity or SaaS.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build a scalable advocacy engine: recruit, onboard, and manage a pool of customer champions, and match them to reference calls, case studies, testimonials, and speaking opportunities.
  2. Launch and grow a branded customer community - the connective tissue between product updates, roadmap input, and peer-to-peer exchange.
  3. Design and run always-on lifecycle campaigns across onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal in lockstep with Customer Success and RevOps.
  4. Establish and run Cyera's Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and a dedicated CXO (CISO, CIO, CDO, CAIO) community - charter, member selection, cadence, and content.
  5. Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing customer marketing team - model the behavior you want to see, and give people real ownership of their programs.
