Senior Director of Ethics & Compliance for Eli Lilly in Saudi Arabia, responsible for integrating high performance with high integrity, implementing the Global E&C Program, and cultivating a Speak up Culture. It requires collaboration with leadership, business partners, and regulators, and involves managing E&C program elements, influencing business practices, and driving compliance communications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate/consult and influence leadership to ensure the key elements of an effective compliance program are built into local governance and decision forums, business and operational processes, and training.
  2. Ensure reliable controls are in place and understood by the business to address key risk areas (existing and emerging) to mitigate/prevent – in the “what”, “how” and “why” so that business activities are appropriately implemented.
  3. Collaborate with the business together with the KSA E&C Manager to regularly develop and implement dynamic compliance risk assessments and integrate mitigating measures into business processes.
  4. Support E&C procedure localization and providing input to global procedure updates.
  5. Contribute to developing and driving monitoring plans, root cause analysis, and meaningful corrective actions/preventive actions in close collaboration with an integrated approach across other functions (Finance, Center of Excellence, HR, Medical, Marketing, Sales, etc.).

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years industry experience, leading Legal and / or E&C
  • Knowledge of local laws, regulations, guidance and Codes
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical or related healthcare industry
  • Solid business knowledge and leadership experience
  • Agility using and working with technology, automation and AI tools
  • Cross functional experience
  • English proficiency
  • Bachelor's degree
