Senior Director, Event Finance & Economics

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director of Event Finance & Economics to own the financial planning, performance management, and governance of their Strategic Events portfolio. This role involves synthesizing financial inputs, managing forecasts, analyzing variances, and providing decision support to leadership. The position also oversees workforce and operating expense economics, establishes financial governance, and develops long-range financial strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial forecasting, scenario modeling, and workforce/OpEx economics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the forecasting framework, assumptions, and portfolio-level outlook for the Strategic Events portfolio
  2. Own financial oversight of headcount, contractor spend, and T&E across the Strategic Events portfolio
  3. Partner with FP&A and leadership to establish and operationalize financial standards and guardrails for Strategic Events
  4. Serve as the primary financial strategy partner to the team leader and Strategic Events lead for executive-level planning, scenario analysis, and investment decisions
  5. Own long-range strategic financial planning, including LRS and annual planning cycles
