Senior Director of Fashion Design for Non-Apparel categories (Footwear, Jewelry & Accessories) at Walmart. This role leads the design vision, brand identity, and product assortment for private brands, with ownership of P&L and budget. What you'd actually do

  1. Set and drive the design vision and brand identity for the Footwear, Jewelry & Accessories private brand portfolio
  2. Ensure brand DNA and design standards are executed consistently across stores and Walmart.com
  3. Translate brand direction into product—owning key decisions on silhouettes, materials, and overall assortment expression
  4. Partner with Product Development and Sourcing to deliver the line through the right supplier strategy, quality, and cost
  5. Collaborate with Marketing/Brand Services to bring the brand to life through cohesive storytelling, packaging, and promotions

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, textile design, or related area and 13 years’ experience in apparel design, garment construction, or related area OR 15 years’ experience in apparel design, garment construction, or related area
  • 10 years’ supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to build and execute private brand strategy
  • Define and maintain a winning brand aesthetic and clear brand DNA/guardrails
  • Analyze competition, customer behavior, industry trends, and macro environment insights
  • Customer-centric decisions across touchpoints and incorporating actionable customer feedback
  • Leading with ownership, autonomy, and tenacity in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Cross-functional leadership and influence
  • Managing P&L and annual budgets for a brand or portfolio
