This role is for a Senior Director, Global Rewards Business Partner at Salesforce. The primary focus is on providing compensation and benefits consulting to business leaders and HR leaders within the COFO organization. While the role requires demonstrated experience using AI tools for data analysis and workflow streamlining, the core function is not AI/ML development but rather HR/Rewards strategy and consulting, leveraging AI as a tool.

What you'd actually do

  1. Operate as a trusted advisor and point person for all Global Rewards related matters for functional, regional or business unit leadership and ES Business Partners.
  2. Lead client groups through Salesforce's global cyclical compensation planning processes (merit, bonus, LTI planning)
  3. Analysis of market data and trends
  4. Partner with other ES functions (such as ES Business Partners, Recruitment, Talent Management and ES Operations) to ensure alignment, consistency and efficiency across our operational model.
  5. Communicate changes to compensation and benefits programs to key leaders — providing perspective, opportunities and linkage to strategic priorities

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; highly numerate
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, or equivalent) in a professional context
  • Proven ability to apply AI to accelerate data analysis, streamline workflows, and drive insight
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders; solutions-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Experience supporting a variety of client groups within G&A
  • Expertise in financial analysis, statistical analysis and compensation modeling
  • Highly experienced using relevant tools such as Google Docs and Excel
  • Open, honest and results-oriented communication style — able to effectively and credibly interact with stakeholders at all le
