This role is for a Senior Director of GTM Operations at The Trade Desk, a global technology company in digital advertising. The role focuses on operational excellence, strategic partnership with GTM Sales and Client Services leadership, and driving commercial priorities. It involves shaping go-to-market plans, uncovering trends, surfacing insights, and translating data into strategy. The individual will lead key operational initiatives, manage a PMO for cross-sector programs, and ensure GTM readiness. The role requires strong analytical skills, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to operate autonomously at scale, with a focus on building predictable growth mechanisms and a scalable GTM operating system.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and run the GTM operating system by establishing the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual rhythms that connect initiatives to clear decisions and actions that generate revenue.
  2. Institutionalize a single source of truth by aligning definitions and executive views across Salesforce, Anaplan, BI systems, and The Trade Desk platform in partnership with BI, BSA, and FP&A. Ensure leaders spend time deciding, not reconciling.
  3. Lead mechanism design by translating company goals into GTM OKRs and building mechanisms such as weekly revenue call packs, narrative briefs, and decision logs that improve signal, shorten cycle time, and increase controllability of outcomes.
  4. Own the PMO for high stakes, cross cutting programs such as tentpoles, new data and inventory partnership launches, Annual Planning, Account Planning, and more.
  5. Drive Working Backwards planning by defining strategy, scope, objectives, decision gates, and success metrics and aligning executive sponsors and cross functional owners.
