Senior Director, Japan Digital Go-To-Market & Sales leader at Adobe, focused on driving ARR and MAU growth through optimized user journeys, promotional strategy, and customer retention. This role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and marketing teams, and a deep understanding of digital marketing and product monetization. The ideal candidate will have experience owning a P&L, driving strategic business opportunities, and managing matrixed teams in consumer, creative, and productivity environments. Fluency in English and Japanese is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensures customers achieve success relative to their intent and derive meaningful membership value, while delivering Adobe shareholder value as measured in ARR growth, MAU growth, and critical metric performance improvements.
  2. Drives growth through key business levers such as optimized user journeys, promotional strategy, free customer product experiences, add-on/up-sell and customer retention.
  3. Maintain strong working relationships with the teams in Adobe’s global headquarters, and interface regularly with product, user research, engineering and marketing teams.
  4. Partner across several teams to improve the experience across emerging customer journeys and drive acquisition growth.
  5. Develop, mentor, and assess cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

Skills

Required

  • Experience owning a P&L and achieving Digital sales targets through direct execution and influence
  • Proven experience evaluating and driving strategic business opportunities in consumer, creative, and productivity related environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing matrixed teams across product management, product marketing, and sales in a consumer environment.
  • Obsession with end users and making sure they realize value in our products.
  • Experience fine-tuning consumer GTM motions in the evolving world of LLMO/GEO, and shifting commerce experiences around the user journey to assure product users achieve value realization.
  • Deep understanding of the iOS and Android mobile app store environment and especially how social channels influence app store behavior.
  • Deep expertise in market analysis, competitive intelligence, and identifying customer and partner needs to inform strategy.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience developing, mentor, and assessing cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.
  • Ability to define and communicate clear vision, strategies, and execution plans that drive measurable business results.
  • Excellent decision-making, analytical, and communication skills, with a track record of influencing partners at all levels.
  • Fluency in English and business-level proficiency in Japanese are required.
