What you'd actually do

  1. Define and execute a multi-year product vision across Platform and Infrastructure domains, including: Platform services: compute, databases, messaging, storage, API management, and document platforms; Infrastructure services: hybrid cloud, private cloud, network, identity, and data center engineering
  2. Own and drive a cross-platform product roadmap spanning: Unified Control Plane for consistent provisioning and operations across services; Core services (databases, messaging, caching, storage, API management, workflows); Document, workflow platforms; AI-native developer experiences (e.g., AI-blueprints, AI-assisted migrations, MCP integration); Hybrid cloud platforms and private cloud capacity expansion; Infra modernization; Identity, certificate, and security infrastructure; Data center lifecycle
  3. Drive adoption of platform services through: Forward-deployed engineering model to onboard critical workloads; Standardized “paved road” experiences (blueprints, Terraform, GitOps patterns, AI-assisted workflows) to fast track adoption; Unified developer experience via a single control plane interface for all services
  4. Lead platform-level FinOps strategy across PaaS and Infrastructure: Drive cost and utilization optimization initiatives via targeted improvements, rightsizing compute/storage/network resources, SKU optimizations and platform consolidation; Partner with FinOps & engineering to build cost insights and attribution models; Ensure cost efficiency scales alongside platform adoption
  5. Ensure platforms meet enterprise standards for: Reliability, Availability & Operational Excellence
