This role is for a Director of Technical Accounting at Crusoe, an AI infrastructure company. The primary focus is on interpreting and implementing complex accounting standards (US GAAP, FASB), developing accounting policies, assisting with external audits, and ensuring SOX compliance. What you'd actually do

  1. Develop, maintain, and update corporate accounting policies to ensure global consistency and compliance with US GAAP.
  2. Assist with the external audit, including researching accounting guidance, writing detailed technical accounting memorandums, and reviewing financial statement disclosures
  3. Review FASB Accounting Standards Updates (ASUs) and assess the impact on the Company’s financial statements
  4. Provide ongoing technical accounting guidance as products, operations, and regulations evolve
  5. Partner with the Internal Audit team to maintain a robust SOX compliance

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of accounting and/or audit experience
  • Deep mastery of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Ability to communicate complex accounting issues in clear and concise manner
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting defined timelines
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across functions
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • CPA license is required
