Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead the Identity & Access Management product portfolio within the Hyperforce Trust Platform. This role involves setting strategic vision, managing a team of product managers, and driving the delivery of platform capabilities related to security, availability, scale, and compliance for Salesforce products. The position requires extensive experience in technical product management, people management, and cloud-based enterprise software, with a focus on customer success and trust in an AI-driven environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Vision, Strategy, & Roadmap - You help set strategic vision with executive management and the roadmaps needed to get there.
  2. Customers, Partners, and Collaborators - You will engage with customers, partners, and internal collaborators to resolve business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic goals.
  3. Planning, Delivery, and Execution - Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering and operations peers to deliver both strategic and tactical plans and objectives. You are hands-on and involved in getting results delivered.
  4. Platform product management: Own the delivery of platform products & services from planning to delivery and iteration, with strong product sense and customer focus
  5. People management: Lead a diverse team of product managers providing guidance, removing roadblocks, ensuring business outcomes are met and driving product management excellence.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Security or related fields
  • 10+ years in a technical product management or related role
  • 5+ years of people management experience with distributed and global teams
  • Experience working on and efficiently delivering technical cloud-based and enterprise software.
  • Demonstrated experience in assembling and redefining technical product requirements into an actionable product roadmap.
  • Experience working and delivering product or services in an agile/lean environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership
  • Track record of successfully building alliances with teams in a matrix environment

Nice to have

  • 5+ years experience as a technical product manager for Security, Identity & Access, and/or Platform Engineering products
  • Experience building Identity & Access Management systems and services
  • Proven understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms including one of the major hyperscalers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)
