Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director of Sales Strategy to drive vision and strategy for sales leaders and Account Executives within specific verticals. This role involves strategic planning, sales coverage, sales analytics, and developing plans to address areas of weakness. The candidate will partner with cross-functional teams, conduct deep analysis, and communicate with executives. Responsibilities include designing go-to-market strategy, achieving sales targets, tracking key metrics, uncovering sales potential, creating executive presentations, managing sales forecasts, automating dashboards, building sales tools, and performing ad hoc analysis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with sales leaders to design go-to-market strategy, allocate resources, assign performance targets and more
  2. Develop an effective plan to achieve Sales targets at all levels of sales leadership
  3. Track key metrics such as pipeline, ACV, contract and product based analytic, top account and product performance
  4. Uncover additional potential to sell and increase added ACV opportunities: White space analysis, Propensity to buy, Sales coverage by region Segment, territory strategy, etc.
  5. Create executive presentations for Salesforce C-level audience
