Senior Distinguished I, Product Manager - Agentic Advertising

Product Manager to define and scale new advertising experiences within AI-powered shopping journeys, focusing on AI-native ad formats, conversational commerce, and customer trust. This role will pioneer new ad formats using shopper intent and context, define sponsored content in agentic journeys, and build experimentation frameworks to measure impact.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for advertising experiences within AI-powered commerce surfaces.
  2. Pioneer new AI-native ad formats that move beyond the sponsored product playbook, using shopper intent, mission context, product relevance, basket signal, and closed-loop commerce outcomes to create useful, transparent sponsored experiences.
  3. Define how sponsored products, recommendations, and brand experiences should appear in conversational and agentic shopping journeys.
  4. Partner with advertising, ecommerce, search, personalization, design, engineering, data science, analytics, legal, privacy, and policy teams to bring new monetization experiences to market.
  5. Develop customer-first principles for sponsored experiences in AI shopping, including relevance, transparency, disclosure, measurement, and ranking integrity.

Skills

Required

  • 15+ years of product management experience, with meaningful experience in ecommerce, digital advertising, and/or retail media.
  • Strong understanding of advertising products, sponsored listings, auction-based marketplaces, campaign performance, measurement, and attribution.
  • Experience with agentic commerce, AI/ML personalization, recommendation systems, or conversational interfaces.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across engineering, design, data science, business, legal, privacy, and operations.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience defining success metrics, experimentation plans, dashboards, and business impact models.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and turn emerging technology shifts into clear product strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 13 years’ experience in product management. OR 15 years’ experience in product management or related area.
