Senior Education Customer Success Manager

This role is a Senior Education Customer Success Manager at Adobe, focused on driving the adoption and active usage of Adobe's AI-first applications among Japanese students. The primary goal is to increase monthly active users (MAU) by partnering with higher education institutions, implementing tailored engagement plans, and gathering customer insights to inform strategy and product development. The role requires strong customer-facing experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with universities across Japan to support the successful adoption and integration of Adobe tools.
  2. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to understand their goals and align Adobe solutions accordingly.
  3. Deliver and implement tailored onboarding, enablement, and engagement plans that drive active use and long-term value.
  4. Invent and implement scalable engagement strategies that can be replicated across institutions to improve impact and efficiency.
  5. Share customer insights and feedback to inform internal strategy and product development.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing role within a technology or SaaS organization, ideally in the education sector.
  • Experience in the education sector (higher education, vocational education, K-12, or corporate learning & development), or equivalent experience supporting learning, training, or digital enablement initiatives.
  • Strong interest in collaborating with academic or education-related stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey value and outcomes to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to prioritise and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical approach, using data to inform strategy and measure success.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable programs that drive consistent customer outcomes across a broad portfolio.
  • Japanese at a native proficiency level and English at a professional working proficiency.
  • Able to travel to customer sites
