Senior Electrical Engineer for Oura's hardware team, focusing on the design, development, testing, and manufacturing of future wearable and accessory devices. Requires extensive experience in consumer electronics, electrical design, PCB layout, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Electrical Design and development of cutting-edge wearable and other consumer devices, with a keen focus to detail, precision, and reliability. This includes electrical architecture, component selection, schematic design, and integration into PCBs, flexes, and other new technologies as required.
  2. Conduct thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure they meet performance, quality, reliability, and safety standards. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop test plans.
  3. Oversee manufacturing and testing of PCBs, flexes, and overall product at our manufacturing facility, collaborating closely with the contract manufacturer.
  4. Work closely with mechanical and sensor engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components within the product's physical design. Collaborate with firmware engineers to develop embedded systems and ensure software-hardware compatibility.
