This Senior Electrical Engineer role focuses on designing and owning embedded control electronics for autonomous drones and rocket motors, from concept to production. The role involves hardware selection, schematic and PCB design, board bring-up, system integration, and troubleshooting across electrical and software boundaries. It also includes managing product sustainment, cost reduction, and supporting production processes in a fast-paced, defense-focused environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and own embedded control electronics from concept to production, including hardware selection, schematic & PCB design, board bring-up, and system level integration
  2. Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and software debugging tools
  3. Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products
  4. Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware
  5. Helped managed product sustainment in a production process with engineering improvements, product cost down, and sourcing engineering support
