Senior Electrical Engineer - Simulation and Training (onsite)

Senior Electrical Engineer role focused on the design, modification, integration, and testing of aircraft and ground vehicle training simulators for military and commercial use. Responsibilities include electrical analysis, schematic design, power budgets, part specification, custom cabling design, and prototype integration. Requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Considered a specialist in a specific electrical hardware design area or a generalist in multiple areas.
  2. Contribute to hardware engineering requirements capture, analysis, and derivation.
  3. Design, Analyze, Integrate and Document hardware systems of moderate to high complexity.
  4. Work closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g. Mechanical, software and Systems engineering) to ensure the electrical design is appropriate for the project/product design approach.
  5. Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration and qualification testing of training systems of moderate to high complexity.

Skills

Required

  • STEM degree
