This role is for a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on the design, analysis, simulation, test, integration, and troubleshooting of digital electronic modules and circuit cards for missile applications. The engineer will collaborate with various teams and must be experienced in hardware designs involving processors, FPGAs, memory, and standard industry interfaces. A STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required, along with an active security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, integration or troubleshooting of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for Missile applications.
  2. Collaborate with other Engineering disciplines, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality stakeholders to ensure design integrity and compliance with requirements.
  3. Qualified candidates must be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.

Required

  • STEM degree
  • 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • 5 years of engineering digital circuit design experience
  • design, analysis, simulation, test, integration or troubleshooting of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs

  • industry interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART)

Nice to have

  • taking a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level to development of a complete hardware design, and verification via test and integration
  • taking existing design and analyzing functionality and troubleshooting failures
  • Mix-Signal electronics and interfaces such as RF, Analog and Power
  • digital electronics simulation and analysis tools
  • test equipment to validate hardware performance
  • working with sub-tier suppliers and resolving technical and/or production issues
  • Technical writing and formal presentation experience
  • Aerospace and Defense product development lifecycle
  • Ability to take ownership of task/project and execute with autonomy
