This role is for a Senior Employee Success People Advisor with Payroll experience at Salesforce, a company that uses AI in its CRM and for internal recruiting processes. The role focuses on providing HR support, managing payroll, and improving HR processes using Salesforce technology. It does not involve building or directly working with AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide support to employees and managers via our case management system, responding to inquiries on benefits, time off, compensation, HR policy, and employee data, and ensuring all cases are resolved accurately and on time.
  2. Maintain and improve the HR knowledge base by creating and updating self-service articles to close knowledge gaps and keep content current for employees and managers.
  3. Process employee data corrections and transactions in Workday, including third-party deductions such as court orders and 401(k) contributions, and support end-to-end payroll cycles including year-end activities and audits.
  4. Partner cross-functionally to identify process inefficiencies, participate in User Acceptance Testing for system enhancements, and contribute to projects that modernize ES People Services processes.

Skills

Required

  • minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, HR, or a shared services environment
  • experience supporting end-to-end payroll cycles, including inputting and validating employee data changes, supporting payroll legislation compliance, and assisting with internal and external payroll audits
  • experience working in a case management system and processing transactions in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) such as Workday Human Capital Management (HCM)
  • able to maintain confidentiality, diagnose data or process issues, and lead resolution efforts through clear communication and cross-functional collaboration

Nice to have

  • prior experience with Workday HCM specifically
  • experience in an HR shared services organization
  • familiarity with third-party payroll integrations or multi-state payroll processing
