What you'd actually do

  1. Provide day-to-day advice to key stakeholders on a broad spectrum of employment law issues, including performance management, disciplinary outcomes, grievances, employee equity, executive compensation, benefits, contingent workers, global mobility, M&A and international expansion
  2. Prepare and negotiate various employment-related agreements, including employment and settlement agreements
  3. Lead complex and time-sensitive projects and coordinate internal stakeholders and external advisors
  4. Support and manage employee disputes and litigation
  5. Develop and maintain internal resources / templates for the regional team, including the creation of playbooks

Skills

Required

  • Admitted to practice in England and Wales
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in employment law
  • Experience gained within a respected law firm or in house organisation
  • Experience representing or working at rapidly growing international technology companies
  • Understanding of employment laws and issues across Europe / the EMEA region
  • Ability to apply knowledge pragmatically in a commercial environment
  • Good judgment
  • Collaborative, flexible approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to communicate complex matters effectively
  • Provide pragmatic advice that is risk aware, not risk averse
  • Sense of ownership and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to navigate stakeholders and drive projects forward
