Senior Engineer role focused on developing and verifying software for engine control and diagnostic systems within an Agile framework. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, system and software architecture, algorithm design, product software design, verification and validation, and test support. The role requires experience in safety-critical software development and knowledge of regulatory standards like DO178B.

What you'd actually do

  3. Participate in Agile ceremonies
  4. Participate in software planning, estimating and tracking per Agile framework
  5. Potential to serve as Agile Scrum Master and/or part of the Development Team

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree

Nice to have

  • Controls Systems development and support
  • Solid track record of achieving results in a technical role
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure engineering environment
  • Prior experience developing software in an Agile framework
  • Prior safety critical software development experience
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as DO178B
  • Outstanding cross discipline communication skills
  • Familiarity with jet engine control and diagnostic system architectures and control logic design
