Senior Engineer responsible for the integration engineering of large mining equipment, focusing on system architecture, configuration, and the seamless interaction of mechanical, electrical, and digital components. The role involves researching design parameters, guiding technical design evolution, and testing new technologies for product improvement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Researching and developing design parameters, performance characteristics, and technical specifications of new products and components.
  2. Guiding the evolution of the technical design, technical project planning, performance analysis, and development testing.
  3. Participating in supplier selection and capabilities assessment.
  4. Monitoring, exploring, and testing new technologies, materials, and components to understand product or process improvement opportunities.
  5. Constructing and fabricating prototype equipment; overseeing materials selection, process optimization and process yield, as well as reliability testing and failure analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and product configuration platforms
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Experience with prototyping, system testing, validation, and verification processes to ensure product quality and reliability
