Senior Engineering Analyst, Content Adversarial Red Team

This role is part of Google's Trust & Safety team, specifically the Content Adversarial Red Team (CART), focused on identifying and mitigating content risks in GenAI products through red teaming exercises. The role involves designing and implementing technical solutions to mature red teaming capabilities, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and advising leadership on content safety issues.

What you'd actually do

  1. Deliver analytic insights based on innovative and complex red teaming exercises that help uncover content abuse risks. Inform and lead the creation and refinement of net new red teaming methodologies, strategies and tactics.
  2. Help mature red teaming capabilities by designing and implementing technical solutions in collaboration within and across the team that provide optimized approaches that help support and scale adversarial testing.
  3. Contribute to project scoping, design, and functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Research, and Policy, to drive the implementation of strategic safety initiatives. Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on complex content safety issues, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  4. This role works with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, and/or upsetting topics or content.
