Senior Engineering Analyst

Google Google · Big Tech · Dublin, Ireland

This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable enforcement workflows, models, and technical solutions using data analysis, machine learning, and Generative AI to protect the YouTube monetization ecosystem. The Senior Engineering Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate LLM technologies and AI agents, analyze data to identify system gaps and threats, and validate/improve automated protection systems. The role focuses on building and scaling AI-driven solutions for trust and safety within the monetization domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, implement, and optimize scalable enforcement workflows, models, and technical solutions from scratch to protect the YouTube monetization ecosystem.
  2. Co-develop product protections and integrate Generative AI/Large Language Models (LLMs) technologies (e.g., machine-readable policies, AI agents) with partner engineers.
  3. Write complex, efficient SQL and Python code independently to extract and analyze high-volume product metadata and compute classifier performance metrics.
  4. Perform complex anti-abuse investigations and deep-dive data analyses to identify system gaps, discover novel threat vectors, and implement robust mitigations.
  5. Review controversial or offensive content to validate and improve the precision and recall of Applied AI and automated protection systems.
