Senior Engineering Manager for an iOS mobile team building video creation and editing experiences. The role involves leading and growing a team of senior iOS engineers, setting technical and quality standards, and partnering with Product and Design. A key aspect is coaching the team on effective use of AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows to improve quality and speed, while maintaining rigorous standards for code quality, correctness, and security. The role requires strong people leadership, technical fluency in iOS development, product instincts, and communication skills. Experience with mobile video editing workflows is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. You’ll lead, grow, and support a talented team of senior iOS engineers.
  2. You’ll set technical and quality standards for the iOS organization.
  3. We also need someone who can coach engineers on effective use of AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows.
  4. You’ll partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders to shape product strategy.
  5. You’ll guide the team in making thoughtful scope and priority decisions, balancing user impact, velocity, and long‑term technical health.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience shipping Apple applications, with significant time delivering complex, production‑scale iOS products.
  • Experience managing and growing teams of senior engineers, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development.
  • Technical fluency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and the iOS SDK.
  • Product instincts and UX sensibility—familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines, a keen eye for interaction quality, and a feel for why details matter to users.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Experience using AI‑assisted development tools at a team level—setting expectations, workflows, and guardrails for AI‑generated output.
  • A clear, compelling communicator who translates between technical, product, and design perspectives.

  • A track record of influencing product direction, technical strategy, or design outcomes beyond your immediate team.
