Senior Engineering Manager for Android Application Safety, responsible for protecting Android devices from malware, privacy violations, and content abuse by leveraging AI and building infrastructure. This role involves managing engineers, technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing ML infrastructure, with a focus on safeguarding the Android app ecosystem.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the evolution of our review platform, empowering thousands of human reviewers to safeguard the Android app ecosystem.
  2. Establish collaborative partnerships with technical leads and leaders across global sites and product areas to define a goal, direction, and priorities.
  3. Design, guide and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and write product or system development code to solve problems.
  4. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  5. Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
