Senior Engineering Manager - Corporate Engineering | UK | Remote

Grafana Labs Grafana Labs · Data AI · Canada +1 · Remote · R&D: Platform

Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Corporate Engineering team, focusing on optimizing IT operations and driving the internal AI strategy. This role involves building platforms for automation, agentic workloads, and internal AI usage, while managing traditional IT systems and security. The goal is to enable employees to own their workflows and leverage AI in an AI-native, everything-as-code company.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the team covering a range of existing areas, including corporate systems, employee device lifecycles, helpdesk queues, and internal tooling development.
  2. Handle corporate security initiatives, deploying security and compliance checks in an employee-enabling way (guardrails and paved roads) in their daily workflows.
  3. Help define our wider internal AI rollout, enablement, and security strategy across all teams, not just developers.
  4. Manage the relationships, negotiation, and contracting with core SaaS vendors.
  5. Make all work and costs visible, both internally to the team and enable stakeholder teams to understand their processes and work. Use this visibility to continuously improve processes.
