What you'd actually do

  1. Define and implement an engineering roadmap that supports intelligent and scalable outreach to customers via our direct mail, digital, and partnerships platform
  2. Work with cross functional partners including Product Managers, Performance Marketing Managers, Analytics, and Research Scientists to make this a highly impactful program
  3. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team directly, focused on providing high quality solutions and incrementally enhance systems with each pull request
  4. Leverage experimentation and data-driven insights to refine growth strategies, optimizing user outreach and conversion through continuous testing, iteration, and personalization
  5. Create a best-in-class direct mail and digital infrastructure that scales

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or a related field (or its equivalent)
  • 8 years of experience
  • 3 years of direct people management experience
  • Experience leading product oriented teams with quantifiable user impact
  • Ability to convey complex technical information to a variety of audiences

Nice to have

  • Experience working on systems that integrate with 3rd parties and/or ingest, store, expose large amounts of data
  • Professional experience working on either Marketing technology or Growth engineering
  • Proven track record of leading and growing engineering teams
  • Success in driving initiatives spanning multiple teams across organizations
  • Skilled in scaling systems in both a technical and organizational capacity
