This is a sales role for MongoDB, a company that provides a database platform for the AI era. The role focuses on growing existing customer accounts and landing new workloads through outbound prospecting, managing the full sales cycle, and developing strategic territory plans. While the company is involved in AI, this specific role is not directly building or researching AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT leaders, and technical end users
  2. Grow a current base of MongoDB customers by landing new workloads through outbound prospecting
  3. Manage the full sales cycle for all MongoDB Products & Services
  4. Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve revenue targets
  5. Collaborate with the sales ecosystem to drive sales initiatives and partnerships

  • Quota-carrying field sales experience
