This role is for a Senior Events & Field Marketing Manager responsible for the planning, execution, and operational aspects of Temporal's annual developer conference series (Replay) and supporting regional field marketing events. The role requires strategic thinking, hands-on execution, cross-functional collaboration, and operational rigor to scale events and strengthen the developer community and brand presence.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead & oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of the Replay conference series, ensuring a best-in-class attendee experience
  2. Lead and directly manage key operational workstreams, including agency management, venue operations, production, food & beverage, registration, attendee experience, ancillary events, and other critical event functions
  3. Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and event documentation to ensure flawless execution
  4. Partner cross-functionally with marketing, developer relations, product marketing, communications, partnerships, sales, and executive stakeholders
  5. Manage external agencies, production vendors, venues, and contractors to ensure seamless execution and cost efficiency
