Senior Executive Assistant to support Group Vice President and CEO, LillyDirect, providing communication, scheduling, office management, and other supportive duties. Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Signs for and/or approves contingent or delegation authority, communication materials for distribution, and more on behalf of the business partner
  2. Prepares presentations from concepts provided either in written or verbal form using appropriate software packages
  3. Handles e-mail responses as desired by the business partner (read, evaluate, respond, forward, and/or delete as appropriate)
  4. Communicates independently in response to incoming requests from external customers, prioritizing the requests, and accepting accountability for the results of decisions
  5. Engages and communicates with external senior leaders/key stakeholders

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma
  • At least 5 years previous experience at the senior administrative assistant level
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic work environment with a high level of self-management
  • Manage multiple diverse tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex calendars
  • High level of organizational, project planning and large meeting planning skills
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle sensitive, confidential and proprietary information
  • Strong technical skills and proficient in all utilized systems (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
