Senior Finance Analyst – Business Support (card & Small Business Lending Valuation, Analytics, and Reporting)

This role is a Senior Finance Analyst focused on financial analysis, forecasting, profitability analysis, expense efficiency, pricing, financial reporting, and generating value creation ideas and new investment business cases for Card & Small Business Lending products. It involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing tools like Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, and SQL to analyze data and provide insights.

What you'd actually do

  1. Evaluates Lines of Business (LOB) financial performances and assists with decision making by synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risks, and preparing, analyzing, and reporting on financial results and key metrics
  2. Develops financial management reports, presentations, and ad hoc analyses for LOBs and/or finance partners
  3. Creates forecasts and budgets by comparing current performance against plan, prior periods, prior forecasts, and budgets and evaluating current and future performance trajectory
  4. Supports reporting and analysis for key constituents and management, which may include Board of Directors, Investor Relations, and/or various regulatory agencies
  5. Collaborates with teams across the Finance division to ensure integrity of the financials, sound controls, and efficient and effective procedures

Skills

Required

  • 2 years’ experience with financial planning, analysis and reporting

Nice to have

  • Experience in credit card product valuations and analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
