Senior Finance Analyst Legal Entity Accounting

This role is for a Senior Finance Analyst in Legal Entity Accounting at Johnson & Johnson. The primary responsibilities include calculating and recording tax provisions, preparing internal and external reports, conducting account reconciliations, and supporting external statutory audits. The role also involves participating in projects for process simplification and automation, and cooperating with various finance and tax teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Calculate and record quarterly tax provisions, including annual tax true-ups.
  2. Record deferred tax and prepare internal reporting for group purposes.
  3. Conduct account reconciliations for all direct tax-related balance sheet accounts.
  4. Support external statutory audits (PwC) and preparation of local statutory financial statements with a 3rd party service provider.
  5. Communicate with external service providers and the Johnson & Johnson finance team regarding audits and statutory accounting.

  • University degree with a minimum of 4 years' financial experience

Nice to have

  • A fully qualified accountant or an internationally qualified accountant equivalent
  • Previous job experience in one of the Big 4 or other audit companies
  • Understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
  • Knowledge of processes related to statutory accounting and preparation of financial statements
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and/or other local GAAPs
  • Understanding of the audit process and ability to liaise with the auditors
  • Appreciation of local GAAP differences and adjustments from US GAAP
  • Experience and skills working with SAP and Excel.
