This role is for a Senior Finance Manager focused on Customer Experience Innovation within Microsoft's Global Treasury department. The primary responsibilities involve leading cross-company projects to improve the order-to-cash cycle, driving innovative solutions, and partnering with various teams (Sales, Operations, Engineering, Customer Support) to enhance customer and partner experiences. The role requires strong financial analysis, process improvement, and project management skills, with a focus on policy, process, and technology changes to support Microsoft's digital transformation journey.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead cross-company projects to support customer experience and improve order to cash cycle.
  2. Thought leadership in driving innovative solutions in the ‘order to cash’ cycle.
  3. Represent the Treasury team as a core team member in cross-functional projects, and influence decision making by leaders to drive optimal customer experiences.
  4. Analyze internal or market data to identify opportunities for improvements and drive changes around policy, process or systems as needed.
  5. Partner closely across Treasury and upstream teams to set up global, scalable, efficient, and compliant processes to support Microsoft customers or partners.

Skills

Required

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
  • 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.

  • Solid leadership related experience in finance with a relentless drive for delivering impact.
