This role is for a Senior Financial Analyst at Chewy, focusing on financial planning and analysis within the Healthcare Finance team. The analyst will synthesize data, support strategic decisions, manage financial reporting, and work cross-functionally to drive business growth and ensure financial objectives are met. Requires a BA/BS in a finance-related field, 3+ years of experience, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience with SQL, Hyperion Smartview, Tableau, and Oracle ERP.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to deliver business insights, reporting and analyses, and recommendations and/or conclusions to leadership
  2. Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance
  3. Work cross-functionally with the broader Finance team, the Healthcare Merchandising team, Product team, Marketing, Supply Chain and Accounting to fully understand the business, its customers, and overall operations
  4. Actively participate in the strategic planning, target setting, and annual/quarterly planning processes
  5. Oversee the monthly close process ensuring books and records are accurately maintained in accordance with Chewy's policies and procedures
