Senior Financial Analyst role supporting Johnson & Johnson's Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) global real estate team. Responsibilities include strategic finance support, investment recommendations, consolidating and reporting on financial forecasts and actuals, budgeting, and business case development for real estate projects. Requires strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Key member of the Global Real Estate team on driving strategy and prioritization on investment decisions and standards
  2. Partner with local finance teams and individuals at all levels of the Corporation (Regional CFOs, Group CFOs, GOC leaders, Supply Chain leadership, etc.) using impact analytics and executive framing to ensure the appropriate footprint decisions are taken for the enterprise
  3. Support business case development for all non-supply chain Real Estate projects in North America and Latin America
  4. Leading and coordination of overall budgeting process for the global real estate Business Plan (BP), forecast updates, Long Range Financial Plan (LRFP), latest thinking, and actual reporting, including submissions and coordination/preparation of stakeholder material for global E&PS reviews.
  5. Provide timely communication of key deadlines to regional real estate finance teams to drive clear expectations for forecast cycles/LT/Financial close that will enable delivery of financial commitments.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related business
  • Developing relationships with business partners across all functions
  • Self-starter ready to take initiative to drive value creation, as well as process development and improvement
  • Strong Financial Modeling experience using Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (i.e., Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions)
  • Proven presentation/collaborative skills to influence/negotiate with senior leadership and operate well in a complex, matrixed & ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated robust analytical and technical skills, with the ability to simplify complex discussions
  • Strong ability to frame effectively business cases across all levels of the organization leveraging PowerPoint skills and excellent business communication / storytelling skills (verbal and written)

Nice to have

  • Advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, CPA, CMA, or other applicable certifications
  • 3 years of finance or accounting experience (with strong knowledge of J&J financial processes & Accounting ERPs)
  • Experience using Alteryx, Tableau, or other automation and visualization tools
