This role is responsible for designing and implementing compliance frameworks for OpenAI's extended workforce program, supporting global operations and international growth. It involves developing country-specific guidance, partnering with legal and compliance teams, and ensuring practical, scalable compliance standards. The role requires strong experience in global workforce compliance and the ability to operate in ambiguous, high-growth environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and continuously advance OpenAI’s extended workforce program, including operating models, governance structures, and escalation frameworks.
  2. Develop and maintain country-specific compliance guidance for OpenAI’s extended workforce in support of OpenAI’s global operations across regions and jurisdictions.
  3. Serve as the primary point of ownership for extended workforce compliance across regions, worker types, and engagement models.
  4. Partner closely with the Head of Extended Workforce to ensure compliance approaches remain supportive of business needs and risk tolerance.
  5. Design and maintain compliance standards, controls, and operating guidance for OpenAI’s extended workforce that support speed, scale, and operational efficiency.
