NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to support groundbreaking network technologies, focusing on integrating Network Interface Cards (NICs) with cloud providers and assisting with the deployment of new supercomputer technologies. The role involves collaborating with R&D teams, resolving customer issues, and providing feedback on product requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the integration of our latest Network Interface Cards (NICs) with major cloud providers.
  2. Assist with the deployment of new supercomputer technologies and data centers.
  3. Build and maintain customer trust by understanding and addressing their needs.
  4. Collaborate closely with R&D teams to develop and refine features based on customer requirements.
  5. Lead efforts to resolve complex and high-profile customer issues.

Skills

Required

  • BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware development, including high-speed (10 GHz and higher) multilayer PCBs and SI.
  • Strong networking experience, particularly with NICs and familiarity with Ethernet protocols.
  • Knowledge of server topology, PCIe protocol, BMC interfaces, and security aspects.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in English communication and presentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work directly with customers.

Nice to have

  • Proven ability to work independently and lead projects.
  • Familiarity with PCIe Gen 4.0 and Gen 5.0 protocols.
  • Experience with physical layer of network ports and PCIe ports, including SerDes tuning.
  • Experience in script or firmware development.
