Google Google · Big Tech · Mountain View, CA +1

This role leads the physical health and operation of a robotic fleet, focusing on deep-dive repairs, preventative maintenance, and transforming robot fixing into a scalable, standardized global maintenance system. It involves managing a team, defining operational excellence, and improving processes for robotics, including humanoids.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee the daily uptime and operational readiness of a humanoid fleet, ensuring minimal downtime through rapid intervention.
  2. Guide a team and perform mechanical and electrical repairs, including sensor calibration, drivetrain maintenance, and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) troubleshooting.
  3. Document every repair and failure mode during your initial phase to create the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that will be used across all future fleet models.
  4. Standardize the repair kit, selecting the tools, parts inventory, and diagnostic software required to keep operations running.
  5. Implement standard operating procedures and iterate on the process.

Skills
