Anduril Industries is a defense technology company developing advanced military systems. This role focuses on designing, fabricating, and integrating electrical harness systems for their autonomous air vehicle (Omen). Responsibilities include selecting components, creating diagrams, performing trade studies, and ensuring designs meet electrical requirements for power, network, and communications. The role requires experience in designing electrical harnessing for rugged applications and familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces and harness standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide the engineering expertise to design, fabricate and integrate harnesses systems and represent the harness discipline on projects
  2. Investigate, plan, design and develop harnesses to meet various technical requirements
  3. Research, select, and procure appropriate connectors, back-shells, contacts, wire, shielding, and cable construction for the product to meet appropriate environmental requirements
  4. Work closely with fellow electrical & mechanical engineers to develop and generate harness system block diagrams and wire diagrams to release for production
  5. Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices

Skills
