This is a field-based specialty sales role for Pfizer's Rare Cardiac products. The Senior Health & Science Specialist will drive sales growth by building relationships with healthcare professionals, delivering product messaging, supporting patient access, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong sales acumen, product knowledge, and digital engagement capabilities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive customer engagement and sales performance through effective in-person interactions across rare cardiac accounts.
  2. Build strong, compliant relationships with cardiology HCPs, multidisciplinary care teams, and office staff across assigned accounts.
  3. Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging to support appropriate Rare Cardiac product use.
  4. Leverage product, disease, and market knowledge to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and support patient finding and referral pathways.
  5. Support patient access by providing information on prior authorization requirements, reimbursement support, hubs, and co-pay resources as applicable.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare provider experience
  • Valid US driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards

Nice to have

  • 3–5 years of specialty sales experience, preferably in Cardiology, Hospital
  • Strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement
  • Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts
  • Demonstrated business acumen, data-driven decision making, and strategic thinking
  • Strong digital engagement capability (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom)
