This role manages the US immigration program, focusing on case management, compliance, and process improvements. It involves partnering with employees, managers, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant immigration processes, and contributing to scalable practices for the growing team. The role also involves supporting process improvements, data accuracy, and reporting across the immigration portfolio.

What you'd actually do

  1. You’ll take full ownership of our US immigration program - managing day-to-day immigration cases (work visas, green cards, compliance tracking) in close partnership with employees, managers, recruiters, and vendors to ensure timely, compliant, and employee-friendly processes.
  2. Act as a subject matter expert for complex immigration scenarios and serve as the internal point of contact, providing clear guidance on immigration processes, policies, and timelines
  3. Support process improvements, data accuracy, and reporting across our immigration portfolio
  4. Contribute to scalable practices as our team grows, proactively identifying program gaps and opportunities for improvement
  5. Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Talent Acquisition) and our larger GMI team to ensure alignment and compliance

Skills

Required

  • 4-6 years of experience in US immigration (e.g., at a law firm, vendor, or in-house program) within a high-volume environment.
  • Supported or managed high-volume immigration programs and thrive on taking ownership of day-to-day execution with accuracy and reliability.
  • Deep expertise in common US nonimmigrant visa categories (H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1), as well as experience managing large PERM and immigrant visa programs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest changes in the US immigration landscape to identify potential areas of risk and plan mitigation strategies.
  • Able to manage multiple cases at once with accuracy and care, and communicate clearly and collaboratively with employees and partners
  • Experience with case management systems or centralized vendor platforms to manage immigration cases efficiently.
