This role is for a Senior Implementation Consultant at Box, a cloud content management company. The consultant will lead new customer implementations, manage projects, advise clients on their cloud content management strategy, and ensure successful adoption and expansion of Box's platform. The role involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams, troubleshooting, data migration support, and proposing end-to-end solutions. Experience with SaaS implementation and enterprise software is required, along with strong project management and customer management skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the implementation of new Box customers, including project planning and project resource management.
  2. Ensure the execution of plans for customer vision, initial implementation support, and adoption for each customer.
  3. Appropriately manage project progress, issue/risk management, and resource management, and report the status to stakeholders.
  4. Understand customer use cases and requirements, and advise on customer design and configuration utilizing Box's enterprise and industry best practices.
  5. Troubleshoot customer issues during implementation.

Skills

Required

  • 4-year degree
  • 6+ years of consulting experience (internal consulting via IT organization, or external consulting at a consulting firm or software provider)
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent customer management skills
  • Ability to develop and manage implementation plans with customers
  • Experience with enterprise-scale deployments
  • Proactive and able to act independently
  • Team player
  • Fluent Japanese language skills
  • English proficiency beyond reading and writing
  • SaaS implementation expertise
