Boeing is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist in Colorado Springs, CO, to administer and implement US Industrial Security Standards (NISPOM, SCI, SAP). The role involves ensuring compliance with regulations through personnel security, physical security, and supply chain security actions. Responsibilities include compliance assessments, corrective actions, administrative inquiries, COMSEC duties, information protection, developing security programs, leading personnel security processes, conducting security briefings, managing records, and coordinating with various teams and government customers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  2. Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  3. Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or complex programs
  4. Leads and performs Personnel Security team and/or processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirements
  5. Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements

Skills

Required

  • Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or have been enrolled in a Continuous Evaluation program within the last 5 years
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government polygraph
  • Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial Security

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Security or equivalent
  • CDSE, NSTI/SASSI or other Professional Certification in SAP Security, SCI Administration, ICD-705, JSIG/RMF, COMSEC, or related security certifications
  • Experience with A/CPSO, A/CSSO, FSO
  • Experience as a Industrial Security Analyst
  • Experience working in an SCI/SAP/Aerospace security/intelligence community environment
  • Experience with NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals
  • Experience multi-tasking with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform occasional second-shift or after-hours work schedules to accommodate program operations
