This role is for a Senior Industrial Security Specialist at Boeing, focusing on Communications Security (COMSEC) account management, security program assessments, and compliance reviews. The specialist will evaluate compliance with regulations, perform trend analysis, monitor corrective actions, and support risk assessments. The role requires extensive experience in government security programs and the ability to obtain high-level security clearances.

What you'd actually do

  1. Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  2. Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action
  3. Conducts administrative inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  4. Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures
  5. Develops, implements and administers security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or highly complex programs

What the JD emphasized

  • Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or have you been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
  • Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • 10+ years of experience do you have with Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) equipment and associated keying material
  • 10+ years of experience in government security programs
  • Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time
  • Ability to obtain a successful US government polygraph examination
  • U.S. export control compliance requirements
