Senior International Tax Manager

Adobe Adobe · Enterprise · San Jose, CA

This role is for a Senior International Tax Manager at Adobe. The primary responsibilities include leading U.S. international tax compliance, developing and enhancing tax modeling capabilities, partnering with the tax provision team, contributing to tax planning and controversy, serving as the tax lead for Canada, and supporting tax governance and process improvement. The role involves advanced Excel modeling, using tax software like OneSource, and collaborating with various internal teams and external advisors. While the role mentions leveraging AI for process improvement, the core function is tax management and compliance, not AI development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and manage end-to-end U.S. international tax compliance, including technical analysis, coordination with external advisors, and oversight of OneSource International processes (data inputs, model integration, output validation, and filings).
  2. Design, build, and maintain advanced Excel-based models, including enhancing existing frameworks and developing new models as business needs evolve, to forecast U.S. international tax positions and ETR drivers.
  3. Collaborate closely with the tax provision team on accurate forward-looking modeling of U.S. international tax impacts, including cash taxes and ETR.
  4. Analyze and model proposed tax law changes and planning opportunities; deliver clear, actionable recommendations to partners.
  5. Act as primary point of contact for Canadian tax matters (compliance, provision, planning and controversy).
